Our stay at Hotel Cordia Osaka was wonderful. From the day we arrived, we were promptly greeted and checked in by the friendly staff. The room and bathroom were immaculately clean and had all the amenities one would need. We booked a Hollywood Twin Room and it had plenty of space for us and all of our luggage. The location of this hotel is in the central Osaka area. This made it easy to access transportation and provided plenty of restaurants in the area. For the price, we could not have asked for more. The hotel has an attached restaurant where we ate breakfast every morning. They have a menu with five dishes that they serve, plus you can grab cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit, and drinks from the bar. My wife and I tried four out of the five dishes and they were all tasty. The portions were enough to satisfy you without making you feel lethargic. Overall, this has been one of the best international hotel experiences we've had. If we ever find ourselves back in the Osaka area, we will definitely consider this hotel again.

I rarely give 10/10 but I think that the location had it all and it is hard to find negatives unless you are really picky. Highlights: Reception staff accommodated all our requests, free coffee downstairs, cheap option to wash clothes (I see people complaining that only two washers are available but I think that is great that the hotel offers this option but you can also try to find a location somewhere in the city like most hotels in the world tend to do or just pay for dry cleaning....), the bed was very comfortable, very close to two metro lines that takes you to Osaka Station and Shin-Osaka stations, yes breakfast is expensive but you are surrounded by a variety of options if you want cheaper options, including the supermarkets and last but not least, it offers good value for money.

This is the 2nd time staying here and still best hotel i stayed at in Japan!! the room is HUGE for Japan - we could open 2 big luggage’s and had space to walk around. The location is super convenient, there is one station just 2 minutes walk away and another station 7 minutes walk away. If you have a luggage, the roads are easy to pull the luggage along. The stations also have lifts/escalstors so no lugging your big suitcases up the stairs. The beds are super comfortable, we had issues dragging outselves out of the bed. It was also clean! The shower is huge and the rain shower head has a mode that completely changed my expectations of a rain shower. They also provide free coffee in the lobby :) Definitely a highlight of my trip in Osaka, and would recommend this hotel to anyone!

The room was a good size, very clean and more space than I was expecting. The window at first glance appeared to be frosted but when I looked again I was able to slide that window along and there was a normal glass window behind it. I think the frosted window is for privacy as there is a big office block opposite. I was also worried about the light from a huge sign outside but this appeared to be switched off around 12pm. The bed was comfortable. The location was very peaceful but it was Golden Week when we were there. Breakfast is in a nice restaurant on the ground floor. I think this room was really good value considering it was in a major city. Great location for the riverside park walk. And subway.

Helena

The hotel seems almost new so the facilities were clean and excellent and the rooms were of an average size for Osaka. The location was good with a subway line only 50m away and the main subway line only 400m away. There was a convenience store across the road and lots of great restaurants to the west of the hotel. It was also a short walk to Umeda for shopping, or the river where there is parklands, cafes, and restaurants. On our last visit we stayed in the heart of the Dotonbori area but this time it was nice to be in a quieter part of the city and use the subway instead.
